I remember the Polished Turd. And the car too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Wonder how his Karma is doing nowadays. All I can hope for is that it caught up with him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |

I think both Scotty’s have burned all their bridges and disappeared from the Porsche scene.

Yeah, he's so cool... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) send him your car for work and see what you get. I don't know what you're referring to but I can guess it's a story we've all heard before countless times. Something to the effect of: 1. You weren't happy with the work done on your car. 2. You weren't happy with the time frame for the work done on your car. But both of those things are pretty subjective, he said, she said, I thought, you thought, etc. Lots of "But you said...." and "What did I pay for?" What I can tell you about the picture above, and this isn't subjective, just the truth, is that the pic was taken about halfway through a 17 hour day where Scott volunteered to help me out because I was 500 miles from home and in a really tight spot. He saw I needed help and showed up, unannounced, just because. He worked non-stop all day and even woke his parents up at 1AM when we showed up to dump two cars and two truckloads of parts at their farm. He did this not for pay or glory but just because he is a friend. So while you may have not had a good experience sending your car to him, which like I said can be a subjective ordeal, I have had nothing but a kind friend. Attached image(s) |

I think both Scotty’s have burned all their bridges and disappeared from the Porsche scene. Rest assured I am alive and well with a shop full of customers cars that know what they want and can afford it to be done right. Not wishy washy, mind changing, cheap ass, wanna be player that can't afford proper work and expect to be put in front of existing customers because their car geys them the attention their daddy never have them, then stab me in the back for doing EXACTLY what they asked me to do and approved of. Sll of my work is on my terms, 90% of it is still Porsches, but yeah, I have sworn off 914"s strictly due to 3 customers in particular. 3 magazone writeups, a Rodders Journal cover car don't lie. FWIW I have no affiliation with the car that started this thread. I am not in the sales world, cars or parts I dropped all of this shit, and moved on with my life and business because mu life doesnt revolve around being a forum troll, amd needrd to take care of the things that happened on my end. I still have EVERY record of emails, texts, and screen shots of threads to prove my side. Once again, you feel like you can attack me because you ate a petty little troll, and think I am not around. I still have a lot of friends and customers tjat keep me apprised of ypur slander. I am done with you. Move on with your lives |

Just to clarify, Scotty Boy and Scotty B are two different people. Scotty B is not the scam artist who ripped me off with this rust bucket. That was Scotty Boy, aka Scott Vitolo of Staten Island, NY.
I have no beef with Scotty B, I have never met him or had any dealings with him. Let's keep this thread on-topic please before it goes off the rails and gets locked. I started this thread with the purpose of trying to prevent some other poor guy from getting ripped off with this rust bucket again. Can we save the non-pertinent dirty laundry for some other thread? |

Can we save the non-pertinent dirty laundry for some other thread? Actually, can we please not start another thread? We really don't need another shit show. This thread has a purpose. It is a community service announcement. Lets keep it clean. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |

This guy thinks the entire outer skin of the car is fiberglass (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) I wonder if he's even looked in the wheel wells to see that only the flares are fiberglass.
I'm eagerly awaiting photos of the "repaired" floor after sending him pics of how it looked in 2014 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) I mean, honestly he should have stopped with just the first sentence! Attached image(s) |

interesting description in the ad - "correct Fuchs wheels". Looking at the way the petals are polished and painted, they look a LOT like replicas to me. Clearly any buyer will want to be checking many, many things before shelling out that kind of cash....

Just for fun, I asked the seller about any rust problems. He replied “ any prior rust problems have been addressed”. He added he will be posting additional pics in a day or two. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

I'll be curious to see additional pics as well, and to see how he frames the photos. Looking at the pic of the floor that he used in the auction, he framed it pretty cleverly. The gaping hole on the inner long was right behind the jack point, and is out of frame. But you can just make out in the pic the large hole on the front inner corner of the passenger side where the metal is bent down, as well as the mess below the pedal cluster on the driver side

$60k would be all the money if it was in great shape with a small engine six. Seller is in dream land no matter what the condition shows.

Nothing worse than a cosmetically decent, structurally terrible 914. Are those zip-tied fuel lines dangling down below the body or is it just the angle??
