I made an improved design that is better looking, doesn't need any assembly and no painting. It's shipped ready to use and features a "from the shelf" claw that makes the design much better than my previous one.

It's still 3D printed with high strength Polyamid (SLS) and the finish is satin black. This printing technique makes very fine detail and smooth surface possible.

The mount will lock in the ashtray support and doesnt need any screw.
You can install and remove it without any tool and it is locked in place tightly. I tested it for one year and it works very well.
You can put the excess power cable in the tray if needed (see picture)
Will fit phones from 2.36 to 3.3 inches, (60 to 84mm)

This item is made for the community. A lot of effort was put in designing this mount and it is sold at production cost.
