Best $$$ I’ve spent in a long while. John and Brian from Outfront motorsports went over and beyond. I’ll provide a thorough update soon, going to be a busy weekend. Oscar Which one is Brian that I've been talking with? Nice to put a face to it. DBW, or is it converted to cable drive? |

Any pictures of the shifter?
Not sure if it was this one, but thought a bracket was made to mount the shifter on, and it was still able to be used with the stock console?? |

Brian is the one who did most of the work on my car. Mine is a cable Shifter, will take photos tomorrow. Shifts smooth. O |

Did they turn the intake manifold 180 degrees? The Intake was turned 180 deg before I took it. That way no cutting was required to trunk Good observation O I should have thought of that before I cut my car, GRRR. @rmarx Not too late...you can patch metal and get your trunk back O |

I’ve decided to revive this thread in case we can gain more knowledge. I am looking to do a Subie 6 conversion and interested in the EZ30R and what is involved. I know you purchased it with most of the work done, but do you have details on the build? Mainly looking for: ECU used, harness used, engine cradle, cooling system upfront. I’m in the “information gathering” phase and I love your build! Would love to know more!
Thanks! |

BTW, is that the stock throttle body? @ValcoOscar |

And now it is mine. So i am no longer a candidate for the "That Guy" award at events for not having a running 914.
Needs some finishing touches like bumbersand rockers installed, a few lighting issues, triangle window installed, wheel alignment and some missing seals. With luck it will be road worthy by the end of June for the WCR event. Attached thumbnail(s) |

I knew I recognized that car/engine combo. That should be a beast for sure. If I am being honest, I prefer 914's closer to the ground; I don't get the "Safari" trend. Regardless, that is a whole lot of car and you should really have a blast in that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) [/quote] I agree. I will see how it handles as is. Much as I would like to do some off roading with it i hate to mess up the paint. |

Maybe now we can get some info on the build ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |

Bruce, is there anyway you can take & post some pics of the alternator bracket & belt routing? I'm not on any Social Media so I can't join Kent's group. I tried to turn my EZ36 intake around 180 degrees like that but gave up because I saw no solution to the alternator mounting! Would love to get any info I can on that solution...
Thanks, Mike |
