In the last few days I did some welding for the rental company to help with the cost of the tents.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far!

We have $374.14 in paypal contributions and some checks in the mail.

Camp914 is the biggest contributor so far, by a factor of two. Thank you Craig! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif)
I think Craig deserves one of my Tee shirts for his generosity.
Anyone else gonna join the "Century Club"?

Come on guys, we haven't even covered the cost of half the tents yet. We travel just 4 weeks from now.

7 914s competing in the Production classes and one in GT2.
This is going to be a good year for Porsches at the Runoffs. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

The first of the checks arrived in the mail today.
Thanks to Sir Andy for joining the Century Club!
You guys, PM me with shirt size and mailing address.
(I'm temporarily out of XL.)

Everybody: I have received contributions ranging from $9.14 to $100. Whatever you feel comfortable with will be much appreciated.
We still have a long way to go to reach our goal.
Once the tents are paid for we will use the remainder for getting club member volunteers into the track and for food.
We want to have a big barbeque on Saturday evening after the EProd race, and all club members are invited.
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/party.gif)
Hopefully someone who lives within a short drive to Mid-Ohio will step up to be photographer and blogger for the event.

$20 ain't much but it is all I can do right now and keep my car on track. Have a good time and we have to have some good pictures of the tent.

About 14 individuals have ponied up so far. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)
Three of them account for more than half the fund.

Sorry I just got back from hell and found out about the interest in the Run-offs.
Is the $350.00 tent still available?
What’s the fund amount up to, and how much do you need ?
Mid-Ohio is my old stomping ground

I’ll go and help out wherever whatever you need.

BRAD are you coming?

The $350 tent (20x20) is still for sale by the rental co.
We're renting two 20x40 tents, blue and white.
I'm also bringing end panels but probably nothing for the front and rear. I expect to back the trucks/trailers up to the rear of the tents.

The fund is at nearly $600. Hoping to accummulate close to $1500 so we have enough for the tents and a 914club barbeque on the weekend. Speaking of the party - does anyone not too far from the track have large charcoal or gas grilles to bring, or should we plan on renting?

I'll be starting a thread for volunteers and spectators within a week or so.

Brad's in 911 heaven. I doubt they'll let him come to Ohio. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Right now I am planning on coming up to help out with Kevin's car and anyone else who needs help. Just trying to figure out what days everyone will be there.

Guy Wanegar stopped by my shop today to join the Century Club. Yesterday I got Garold's check in the mail.
That puts us just shy of $700 so far, which is almost halfway to our goal.
We have about 3 1/2 weeks left to prepare for this event.

Sean,
Will you be able to supply a 914club banner to hang on the tent?
