Looking for the hose that connects the middle dash vent to the mixer valve. This hose has two sharp turns at each end. Prefer an original hose
@914werke

Update: Purchased a new 50mm piece of hose at local VW shop in Huntingto Beach. New hose is more flexible and went on with minimal force.

The hose is standard VW size, Not sure what size hose is, thinking it is 50mm. Any VW site should have this vent size hose. Think URO makes reproduction.

I’d prefer one that came out of a 914 and has the two bends in it it’s a tight area to work in.

To hose runs from the mixer box to an elbow and has one bend. You should have a plastic elbow that bolt in from the trunk side that the vent plugs into. Most used hoses are brittle. New ones are cheap.

Part 6 in the diagram faces upward; mine faces 90 degrees counterclockwise. It's a real tough compound bend.
Im hoping someone has removed one; even a picture might help. And it is 50mm;
