Slight hijack. You need an A first gear for a 901? Is this the A gear that is attached to the mainshaft for a 901 4 speed? If so, I have one. Yours for the cost of shipping.

A = 11:34 and is standard on ALL 914's and MOST 911's
AA = 12:34 and is a PITA to find.....for reasonable dinero....

i already have a 4spd A mainshaft, but thanks for the offer clay (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rocking nana.gif)

On a related subject, I have a reverse only gear for a 901. Perfect for the V-8 guys who lock out first anyway.

I can only tell you what the retail market is like. I would expect BBS prices to be cheaper. We have NOS AA's for $750. Used ones run between $500 and $700 depending on condition...
