Just thought I would pass along this recall notice I found over on The Samba website for Harbor Freight Jack Stands. Here is the official link: https://www.harborfreight.com/js-details
Since Porsche 914's have a longstanding love affair with jack stands, those of us who are using Harbor Freight jack stands might want to check this out to see if they are using the recalled jack stands. Stay safe my friends! Mike D. |

I have ratchet type jack stands….not HF but suspect little difference.
If you use the triangular pin in the ratchet does that make them safe? |
