Well, first i bought a 2.0L complete with EFI
Then I bought a bench stand and floor stand (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) And, 2.0 is finally up off the floor where I can work on it. 1) Cyl leak test 2) pull heads and inspect then plug air pump holes. 3) new cyl or put back together depending on leakdown test. Brother,
I got one engine pulled out of the car and one the floor, one on the engine stand waiting to go in the car, and two sitting on the floor in the corner. P (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) |

How many miles on it?
I would ship the heads to Len at HAM to inspect them. He will give you the news on their condition but probably you will want to have them rebuilt. Get a set of 96mm p&c's from Jake to stick in there. Hmm, might as well put a new cooler running FI cam and lifters in there. Its started...........DWD!
