Outboard motor mount, you need to remove the tranny style mount on the early cars and replace them with a folded peice of sheet metal. However when you scrape over speed bumps or steep driveways they will get all bent. I had 1 bad one so I decided to make another. Just had a scap piece of 1/4 steel that was the right length and width. drill a couple holes and a little work with a file for the oblong hole in the center.

I seee (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

What'd you use/where'd you get the fuel lines???

I used 5/16" brake line in a 60" lengths. Got them at a local Checker auto for about $3-4 bucks each. I used both 5/16" as I moved my fuel pump up front (rather than the big/little line).

QUOTE (Travis Neff @ Aug 20 2005, 04:37 PM)
The heater boxes were cut off the stock 2.0 exchangers, the 1.7 SSI's are still there on the 1.7 and in great shape, along with a bursch.

you know that the 1.7 SSI H/Es have a bigger diameter than stock 2.0... you could pull the 1.7 SSI and bursch from the 1.7 and use on the 2.0...
