I am looking to source the original looking heater hoses like the ones in the attached photo for my '73 GT conversion project. I would like to match the brown color if possible but could go with the black if necessary.
P/N 914-572-109-10 & 914-572-110-10 (both 50 mm ID) and (4) pcs of P/N 914-572-123-10 (60 mm ID) I would prefer to buy the two size hoses in bulk and cut to size. Any know of a current source for these? |

Try soaking in a mild bleach and water solution, overnight. They turn out great.

Bulk is only like 6 ft and I think I found it on a VW site/supplier. Pre-covid so who knows anymore... Agreed, VW parts sites will have lots of it, although I've never seen it in brown. VW Beetle fresh air heater hose is 50mm. Readily available, just be sure to get the better quality German made ones. Just one possible supplier, but there are many more: https://www2.cip1.com/vwc-028-129-087-agr/ VW Bus heater hose for certain years is 60mm. Again, one possible supplier. https://www.jbugs.com/product/211261236A.html?abalt=1 Lots of potential suppliers out there. I just did a quick search to get you the above. I'll let you dig deeper and maybe you'll even find it in brown. Black is easy to find. I have had good luck with CIP1, Wolfsburg West, and Airhead Parts. Not so much with JBugs, but that could have just been someone having a bad day. |

Any know of a current source for these? They are essentially paper on the outside. Takes paints of all colors readily. Flat tan of your choice from the rattle can department. I tend to paint tan ones black because I think the tan looks bleached, which it turns out is sort of right. |

I acquired new ones years ago from Napa Auto Parts. I will see if I still have the part numbers. They come black unfortunately but I think they look clean inside the frunk area on my 74.

This doesn't answer your question, but I had this saved in my favorites as a source for heater hose.
I'm not winning any car shows, so I just need something that fits (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Not super cheap, but not stupid expensive. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/scat.php |

URO makes new hoses, Just go to any VW bug site and look around. Pulled 911 hose from Ebay. At the time we bought what we thought were every possible variation of these paper hoses and although we could buy the longer hose about five years ago, we can no longer find it. If you find one please let us know. |
