I'm getting ready to put gauges in Ruby.
Where are the Center Console Wiring Harness connections? I have the diagram. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/hosting.photobucket.com-21449-1713832818.1.jpg) Are these them? https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/9...e_pic21_big.JPG Not enough wires and they don't match up. TIA, GN |

Jeff -
PERFECT! The sketches of the connectors explain it all! The diagram at top implies 3 black connectors - 3 brown, etc. - not one. Repeat. So simple - got it now! Piece of cake! Thanks so much! GN |

Top drawing misleads because it even says that each yellow rectangle is each a 6mm female spade terminal.........I have over 50 years of believing electrical drawings to mean what they say!
But now I see only the 5 at the bottom refer to what is on the floor........my bad..... I can easily make my own harness...... GN |

Kind of on topic......What does this (black) harness connect to? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) asking for a friend...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) That's the seat belt interlock relay housing. It would have 2 relays attached to that housing. Looks like it's been jumped already. See the larger yellow/red wire that's been spliced together. That's the fix. I would take a look at splice job. Most of the time they are just butt connected together. I would clean that up and solder those wires together. Rest just tape up and leave under the seat. I jumped out my brother's 74 but left everything in the factory location. |
