SEPTEMBER 12-15, 2024
TOWNSEND, TN

Okteenerfest will once again be held in Townsend, TN – the peaceful side of the Smokies. With a location bordering Great Smoky Mountains National Park and within a 30 minute drive along the wonderful Foothills Parkway to the world-famous Dragon and its 318 curves in 11 miles, the mountain roads in the area are some of the best in the southeast. Where else can you experience multiple series of twisties, sweepers, elevation changes, and amazing views? All just a short drive from the host hotel.

THURSDAY – The fun begins with event check-in. Meet up with 914 friends new and old to catch up on what’s been going on throughout the past year. Optional “Sunset Drive” to view the sun setting over the Smokies.
FRIDAY – The “main event” – a drive on the area’s fantastic mountain roads. With planned rest and lunch stops along the way, the daylong drive will feature challenging mountain roads and amazing scenery.
SATURDAY – Marvel at the “rainbow of colors” at the Car Show. Find that much needed part at the Swap Meet (or sell some of your junk stuff). Attend a Tech Session or two. Go for a drive. Take a nap. Feast at the awards banquet. It’s a day filled with activities!
SUNDAY – Revel in the sounds and smells of dozens of 914s firing up to hit the road for home.

YOUR REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:
Check-in Packet w/ Event Details
Thursday Evening Sunset Drive (optional)
Friday Drive
Saturday entry to Peoples Choice Car Show & Swap Meet
914 Tech Quiz entry
Informative Tech Sessions
Saturday Evening Awards Banquet
Tickets for Door Prize Drawings

Lifetime of memories, meeting up with friends new & old, and a chance to bond with your 914

I don’t know who’s car but it was in the “stock” section and also worthy of an award- i think we had a dozen cars in the stock section and the Custom each that could have been a champion almost impossible to pick a favorite!

my favorite pic of my car this year.

BTW we drove from Bluffton SC- didn’t tow, drove, 935 miles round trip, i used 31.5 gallons of gas for a 29.7mpg for the whole trip!! that’s up down and all around the mountains !! on a 2056 d-jet .

i would say Porsche’s advertising was spot on- it was the mountain porsche- and the “Space” porsche

one last stop on the way home, Newfound Gap, mile high , and it was cold! temp had dropped to about 55 degrees up there vs about 64 in Maggie Valley, 75 in Asheville and 85 in Spartanburg SC.

For my new friends I met this past weekend…….Great event that made me regret not bringing the beast….especially after seeing the number of people that trailered even further than my 8 1/2 hour trip.
Cheers

that is a beast! Terry, sorry we didnt get to visit much we were running around all over , my son and i, but it was nice to see you again , you can see that the beautiful front bumper I bought from you about 5-6 years back i have put to good use and it is as nice as it was new! this is why i put the front bra on , to keep the stones and bugs from doing any damage! makes the prep and cleaning for shows go much faster as well ,

Hope to see your shamrock next year.

Phil

Talk about getting no resect Look at our event in Tenn and the two others posted in Cal, and N.J. Of the only 6 years of production , look at all the 914s and we no coverage in any publications!
