One of the challenges with the 41 dash/firewall being 14” narrower than the GMC donor was the window crank for the vent window on the drivers side interfered with the turn signal stalk. So….chuck up a piece of billet in the lathe and make a low profile knurled knob. It works great and gives plenty of clearance. I kept the stock crank on the passenger side since there’s all the room in the world there.
