I showed up for the annual Alabama Region PCA Polar Bear Run Saturday Morning. The person dressed up as a polar bear during the driver's meeting turned out to be the Executive Director of the PCA, Vu Nguyen, to present me with a new car!

It is still hard to believe this really happened!

You do need a license plate bracket that says "My REAL Porsche is a 914"...

Well it is hard to believe but give me a month or so to get things sorted and I will update the group.

The car allocated is one of the two in the picture. However, we can go on the Porsche Car Configurator and design a base Boxster or Cayman. We get to pick the color and some options. Vu said we would only remember 10% of what he told us that day so he is sending the instructions.

I agree with Betty about the evolution of the 914. I never take the top off my teener, for a number of reasons, and consider my Cayman to be the grand grand grand child of my 914! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
