Drove through from Arizona to Ohio Sunday. SIRI warned us about bad weather in Oklahoma and Kansas last night and rerouted us, which added some time. It ended up being 1810 miles and about 28 hours to get home. WORTH IT!

What a great event!!. Thank you, JP, for getting it all organized. Each of the day runs was fun. I’ve had a Porsche of one kind or another since 1976. This was another example of what a great group Porsche owners are — especially 914 owners.

A worthwhile trip. Congratulations!

Geeze! Next year baby! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/assimilate.gif) Route 66 needs to be Big (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

I agree Rick. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) Next year for the Centennial needs to be EPIC. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif)

It is not to early to start planning. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

Even though I would love to see the eastern historical points of interest, I doubt I will travel to Chicago as a starting point. Many of those sections are disjointed and scattered, requiring tricky navigation to maximize the route.

What if we broke the 2448 miles into sections and had multiple simultaneous events on the same weekend? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Imagine Route 66 being peppered with 914's from Chicago to Santa Monica!

Or . . .

We could all meet in the middle and flip a coin to see which way we go?!?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)
