Hey All - even though I was bringing the 911, I was planning on making it. The Porsche gods have decided differently. Having battery/charging issues that will keep me out. No time this coming week to deal with it. Rats.

If it's possible, my registration slot/fee/shirt can be transferred to someone else - I was only going to be able to participate on Friday, anyway.

What year 911? Alternator issue?
. I have some rebuilds on the shelf depending on year. Or can find someone to fix.
Or take your daily driver or ride passenger.

Hey Bruce - thanks for this.
I wish I really knew what the issue was. I may post on here on a separate thread as the 911 board doesn't seem as hands on.

Anyway - i wish I had time to deal with it this week but I just don't and I can't get it to the shop til Friday earliest. (Shop is Scott's Independent in Anaheim and they are GREAT, by the way)

It's my 67 911 coupe that was formerly owned by my friend from Road & Track Joe Rusz. Coincidentally, we're having his memorial service tomorrow... I'm bummed but I don't think the WCR is in the cards for me this year, darnit.

I broke the Suby transaxle in the Beast yesterday (7th fastest time of day out of 62 cars, though!), so I'll be bringing Nancy's green 1975 2.0 instead. Looking forward to hanging out with y'all!

First casualty of the 2025 WCR. Bringing a first timer friend from Vegas this year. He rented a U-Haul car hauler (most of us have used them a time or two with no problems) he pulled his car forward to strap down. He thought he was a bit crooked so he backed up but did not notice his front valance hung down below the front tire stop on the trailer. So we had a little ouch. We drive back to my place, put it on the lift and did some quick bending and metal persuasion. We will not be stopped. All that being said, does anyone have one in good shape they'd part with? Bruce?

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to miss at least some of the fun due to ongoing back problems that have degenerated further making it painful to drive or sit for long. If possible I'll get out there for at least a while maybe tomorrow for lunch or dinner. I hope everyone has a great time, and take lots of pics/vids!
