The 914 had some blank canvas left to deal with.
Remember this car had been vandalized. Dents, scratches, scrapes, all the glass broken, sail panel's ripped and the Targa top wrecked. I have replaced all the rubber seals, brake assemblies and all the rust issues cut out. Window mechanisms, door handles and locks repaired. Detailed the trunk, the frunk, wheel wells and all the under carriage. I was never going to paint this car. I wanted to protect it and cover any possible area that could rust. Someone else can paint it down the road.Attached Image

I see you are somewhat close to Maine. Lobster’s kind of have a racing history with Porsche so that’s what I was playing off of. Thanks for the nice comment.

New bushings and pin finish painting then we need to repack the CVS and replace the boots. A local VW guy pressed everything together for me.
