Ok ok you all talked me into it. I plan to powder paint them again provided I can still get decent pricing. With that said let’s pretend they are just bare aluminum with all the hardware to install onto the seat (not the fire extinguisher of your choice) . There are a few holes pre drilled for some but not all fire extinguishers and their mount systems.

What I also plan to do is do this off my website vs pms which was a major PIA last time. Price point will be 40 without powder paint and if I can get them powdered then I will add $4 for that so expect to ship these out the door total price shipped for $50. Here is the link NOT discounted yet or showing stock. Expect this to take 8 weeks as I just put the order in for laser today.

I ask that you post your interest and amount of them you would like so I can shop powder options. https://914-6werkshop.com/product/fire-extinguisher-mount/

I have these mounts in both of my cars and they are fantastic. I have 5lb Purple K FE's on them and they are easy to access and do not get in the way of a passenger. This is a nice solution to having a FE that you can quickly and easily grab that is not in the way. I doubt Ben is making much (if any) profit on these and I appreciate him making them available.

This is still just for "movable passenger seats"? I'm guessing there isn't anything to bolt to without the track for the early cars with fixed passenger seats?

My mounts don’t bolt to the rails it sandwiched the fiberglass seat frame. Unfortunately I don’t have a fixed seat car to experiment with

@JamesJ

I'll beat Kris to it! Here's my car. When I put this in I was worried that it would be in the way of any passenger's legs, but it really isn't. Mounts to the seat itself. I put fabric tape over the bolt heads. 5lb fire extinguisher fits easily.

Thanks @fiacra

Question: your extinguisher looks offset to the right(not centered between the bottom side bolsters), or are my eyes worse than I thought.

On Ben's website photo it seems to be centered.

@JamesJ

Your eyes are fine. It is off center, on purpose. Made more sense to me for it to be where it is. In that position the seat adjuster is accessible for the passenger without the FE being in the way. If you turned the FE the other way you might have it more centered but when you reach for it, unless you have the worlds biggest hands, you want the top of the FE to be closer to you. You can play around to get it more centered but that wasn't my priority. The mount has pre-drilled holes but you can drill new holes in it or you can drill holes in the FE holder.
