The 914/4 shaft has to have a 1/4 inch turned down behind the splines to allow the 944 CV joint to slide all the way on.


That has nothing to do with the stub axle spacers that are needed for the bearings.

Clay - where does this spacer touch the bearing?

and do you have any dimensions for this spacer?
