So some 916 were 6's and some 4's or all them 6's? I thought all were 6's? They were all 6s. The confusion comes from the fact that at least one of them has signs of /4 motor mounts that were removed by Porsche prior to building the car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |

and - just to throw it out there - I'm looking for a 916 nose and tail if anyone has them....thx TD Just post a wanted ad, that's what I did, picked up a used 916 front and rear bumper and rear spoiler for $100 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) but shipping was another $105. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Paint was beat and a couple of small holes/cracks but worth the time to fix for only $100 or so. Just becare full al lot of the 916 bumper I saw for sale didn't have the bumper brackets on them so you either have to make your own or fiberglass them onto the body. |
