If one uses a small cap disributor; Do you still have to cut out a notch in the rear truck for clearance?

Thank You!!!!!!

You should, there would not be much clearance otherwise. I have seen them where they dont but had problems with arcing of the wires on the body.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/agree.gif) The cap by itself will clear but after the wires are installed it'll be a tight fit. In addition you won't have the option of pulling the distributor with the engine in the car.
