does anyone have experience with the various in car dyno systems.

I would like to get something that measures but torque/hp and fuel ratio...

Is there an in car solution that is not snake oil???

www.race-technology.com

This is the datalogger that I use on the dyno AND in the test car....(IMG:http://www.aircooledtechnology.com/customers/bolsen/invitem24067.JPG)

It uses a GPS based system and has internal accelerometers as well.. It IS VERY accurate, but its not cheap... It also logs lateral and straight line G forces..
Its not a "G tech pro" thats for damn sure.

If you are serious this is a great system and you can log tons of things- the sky is the limit!

G tech has been one of our faves...

THe old system seemed to be right on.

If you know the weight of your car exactly, then it will work right on. We did some runs in the turbo with the g tech. 260 rear. then on the dyno was 255 rear hp.

Old g tech doesnt record tq, new one does. I suggest getting the new one with a playback datalog... pretty sick..

I have the old standard version.

but the new one is just soooo much better...

old version is 30 bucks on ebay... Not a bad bang for the buck...

But if your going to do tuning with it, or really want to know more stuff,

the competition (old one is pro) has much more features.

The Race-Technology stuff is great. I have the DL90, which preceded the DL1 that Jake pictured. The amount of data that can be logged and processed is overwhelming.

I also have a Aim Mychron dashlogger this can store/analyze lots of info also.

Both these units are more expensive then the Gtech, as with most things, you get what you pay for

And for A/F ratio

The LM1 unit from Innovate motorsportsis very nice and used widely.

If your just doing HP/TQ and a/f ratio, ie for tuning, then I think the Gtech and LM1 would be just fine....
