So I recently discovered, during disassembly, that the previous owner had fiberglssed over some rust at the rear-most joint of the bumper where the trunk floor hits the back of the car. Am I better off just cutting it all out and integrating tube reinforcement with the roll cage, or just having it repaired?
Thoughts, examples? The car is going to be a suby conversion with a suby tranny and is going to be built for canyon/track racing with the occasioinal trip down the streets. -Chris P.s. The rust goes all the way through so I can't just sand it off. |
