That would be cool.

I've wanted to start a car picture thread. Only odd ball cars, P-cars, race cars, or whatever.

Than I could post pictures of ugly 911's. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Thats what I was thinkin.

It looks like at least one 914 was there ( http://www.crowmountainhillclimb.org/entri...redCrawford.htm ). Anyone know him or the car? If it is prepped half as nice as it looks, it should fly...

Later,
Don

I'll get some video. 35 or so stages over 4 days racing, varying in length from about 7 or 8 km up to 17 km. Good weather over there this time of the year, but can get a bit too sunny, 38 - 40 C (100 - 110 ish in your money). A bit exhausting in a triple layer suit all day.

The one that was signed up for our event broke at the last minute. I couldn't come up with a complete side shift 915 in two days so he could make the event so he had to cancel his entry. Hopefully we'll see him next year.

Check out nhahillclimb.org
They had events in OR, ID, N. CA, MT, WY in '05. I think these are all weekend affairs.
I know a guy who participates with an Audi Coupe Quattro and is building a 914-6 to enter next year. Looks like fun.

In OREGON?!? Shweeeeet...I want to hill-climb more than auto-x but didn't know it was available. Thanks for the URL! When I used to live in Philomath they would have hill-climbs up Mary's Peak. That'd be fun!

Yeah, in some future episode of Top Gear I fully expect to hear Jeremy Clarkson say something like "There are a million miles of asphalt in America, and a few of them are even worth driving on."

But still, yer a stranger in a strange land, so watch it (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

We have a full series in Pa.- some short hills, one long one that is run twice, and a couple of tt's at Summit.

I ran it with a 4 in the early 90's and currently run with a 6. There are one or 2 others that show up.
