Only the rear plate is valid in Indiana. The front plate is from my old 73 914. (RIP (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) )

Don't do the stripes in paint! Do them in vinyl. Should be a fairly easy install, and it's much less complicated if you ever have to re-paint part of the car. Plus you can "refresh" the stripes (or change your mind about them) at any time.
