OK, I'm signed on. I bought a '73 1.7 brand new and then traded it on a '72 VW bus 3 years later - lifestyles change. Then I had a '74 2.0 in the early 80's - once again lifestyle changed and it went away. I've now come full circle, bought an '87 Westfalia last month and decided i needed a '14 for around town fun. Looking for a '74 2.0. What should I expect for $5000-$8000.

Great site - can't wait to get a car.

I'll be damned, Aaron got someone to sign up and actually post, I am officially impressed. Now, finish your car Aaron and bring it by so I can take a look at it.

My new Years resolution is to quit smoking and quit galavanting around and finish my car this year. I am making a total life change in many ways. Wish me luck.

BTW, I will most likely be a total jerk for the next few weeks while I go through the withdrawls, please bear with me through it. Thats what friends are for right?

Well, lessee ....after three years of intermittent lurking, I wound up beating Aaron's (ahem) encouragement by a few hours. Now, it'll only take me a month to figure out how to do stuff on here.....
