I've always wondered. Once I have my 914 I plan to flare it correctly, but what year Fuchs does everyone go with for maximum width w/o rubbing & looking correct as well?

Everybody wants 9" for the back. Very few have 'em. $ $ $ $
Most are happy with 7's & 8's. Wider is better. I think the 16 inchers look best. 15 is to small and 17 is to big for a flared 914. |

I have got a set of 15 X 8.5 fake fuchs Ill be selling off in a couple of weeks when the new to me wheels get here (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) they are the ones in this shot of the car. I would disagree that 17 is to big. The 17X40 rear tire is so close dimensionally to the 16X45 tire that the only difference is it will rotate 6 more times over a 1 mile distance!
