Are the RSR type front strut the only option there is to convert the front suspension to coil-overs?

if you have a good imagination, picture doing this mod to the front....

rear shock adjustable coil over conversion (crude method)

it's ugly, but it works.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif)

Smart Racing makes a fully threaded strut with a adjustable height spindle. If your gouing to go for it, may as well go all the way.

Becuase if your hunting around trying to find which spring rate works best on your car, its quite easy to swap coil over springs. Torsion bars arent that easy to quickly swap.

Also when you do a spring change with coilovers you typically dont lose and alignment settings.

On a street car its probably overkill, but on a racecar its convenient. We carry a slection of springs in the trailer

lets see... 3 torsion bar sizes... (4 counting stock...)

or 100's of spring rates....

you know you can get coils in 5-10lb rates?

hmmmm.... fine tuning is the key.....
