Andy is right ! I have 15 x 12 fuchs on the back of my 911 and my weekly routine is looking for tires. When I find them I buy them. I am sure that no one is making any 285 40 15's now. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Simmons wheel, the ones I have have black centers, and the chrome could use a buff (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Andy, I totally agree that the Sheridan stuff is awesome. both his and Scott's are wide bodies, I have the standard body (a little narrower but not much)

I drove up to Paso Robles last month and have about 22 pictures of Sheridans car on a thumbdrive at the chassis shop right now (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) I am going to add the same size rear wing and uprights to my car - he said that made a huge difference on his speeds/times.

I actually talked to Scott briefly about his car over the phone and I think it is for sale, just doesn't fit what I want to do (I am keeping stock doors and windshield wipers, etc for insurance/licensing purposes).

In fact, I think you may have given me his phone # (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) on the pelican board a couple of months ago (?)

That car makes me want to paint mine silver too. Dammit! I...just...can't...decide...what color to paint this car (if you have seen the flat black dilemna I am having post )

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif)

BTW, I talked to TruDesign - I am on the lookout for some junk, cheap-ass 15" Fuchs - any size width - for centers. They will cut them out and make the wheels up to my sizes and backspacing no problem if I send them some wheels with good centers (good = straight, I don't care about paint).... so anyone, especially local so I don't ahve a ton of shipping costs, have some junk 15x6s nobody wants ????

here is the car, the picture didn't stick - probably because I did a preview earlier. Here is the car.

And not just 15x6s - that was misleading - any width, but typically nobody wants that narrow rim (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Tim,

email Chris Julian, he's running wide fuch modulars but I think they are 16's. They originally were on the "ultimate" V8 914...
