Hey all you 914 dudes & dudettes,

I'll be hooking up a new 930 trans on my car and I have a question regarding the necessity of an inline oil filter. Is it manditory? I have a Tilton differential oil cooler pump, and Earl's cooler and most of the fittings and such. I've been told that it would be a good idea to run an oil filter. I suppose it should be plumbed right before the pump so it never gets gummed up. Any ideas as far as brand names or part numbers? Your experiences please. Thanks,

Bill
