I had to use pics that the PO sent me because other than pics of my car at the FFC the only pics I have taken are of rust areas. I must not love my 914! Here is one from the FFC!

Blitz, that is almost exactly what I am contemplating. Could you post more pics when you have time, especially of the tan door pockets. Thanks a million! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

Will do, it will be this evening. I was in a similar state as I had collected some interior parts and took the best of each set and liked the results.

Actually, with the bright green exterior.... I'd LOVE to swap over to a black interior...... My interior is in such great shape, that it seems like a waste of $$$ for me to change, for no other reason than a bad color combo.
Bright green, with tan/brown interior? Ugggg.... the 70s. Attached image(s) |

Agreed. Brown doesn't work that well for bright green. Dark or delphi would be another story. You need tan. |

Mix-n-match interior isn't my favorite. It's not bad, but it doesn't light my fire either. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mellow.gif) I say sell your blacks for tans.

if your door panels don't have any speaker holes in them, leave them alone and sell them. for someone looking to match the vinyl pattern in their seats, they have some real value. buy jp's nice brown interior in the classifieds. the brown is a damn sight cooler in the summer when the top off.

Thats OK Clay, I have the photos that Wayne took. Thanks anyway. I guess that means if I ever make it back to Texas I get to drive your 914, right? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) |

Visited some upholstery places today, got some wide ranges in price. One place quoted over $3K for materials and labor to do the seats, door panels and back pad. Other place would do install if I get the seat, door panel and back pad kit (e.g. World Upholstery) for $150 a seat, $350 for the back pad (labor only), seems a whole lot better.
