First off. a HUGE Thanks to Twystd1 and Jimmy for showin up and gettin er done. invaluable help. to that i say ROCK ON AND THANKS! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smiley_notworthy.gif)
Now.... a little while back, i sourced some fun gearsets and proceded to get help building a close ratio 901 with the help of one914racer.... well... something is screwed up inside.......(need to fix) yay! pull the trans off the car after it was DONE. soo.... the Original side shifter from the car is summoned and got a quick seal job (used to leak like a sieve... and was an ugly mofo) and is now in the car..... sooo.... swapped trannies... everything else is good to go...... and the car RUNS!!!!!!!!!!! didnt have time to get the header back on before dark..... so we ran it with the stub pipes..... INSANE. fire, and noise... and in n out burgers (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) Idling on Stub Pipes..... Roast some marshmallows? |

Naw... we didn't rev.. Didn't want the exhaust valves bending from cold air reversion.
Just a quick 45 seconds of under 2K.. It was only running on two or three cylinders most of the time. Fun shit... And the marshmellows were perfect.. and they tasted like Toast.
