OK, would like to recognize a member whose unfailing sense of humor, supply of parts and 914 knowledge has helped so many of us. I have it on good authority that Ron will be on the road today, taking a truck full of stuff to AZ and returning with more illegals.

Since he will be unable to defend himself, please post your favorite story/picture/joke about the old one so he has something fun to read when he gets back.

I can't post my favorite SLITS pic. It's not PG-13. Big shock huh?

Yep, leaving today and coming back on Wednesday.

That gives us 3 full days to plot openly. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ph34r.gif)

I don't have any pictures to offer (they all seam to burst in flames when I try to take one of him) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

But I can tell how I like to think of him. For me, I will always think of him as Yoda (a little taller but around the same age, with all the 914 knowledge one would expect) with a really bad taste in beer. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer3.gif)

Also, out of all the people I know, he is one of them.

Ron is shy, and humility prevents him from bragging. So I looked him up:

And my Personal Favorite: Military Sexual Harassment
http://www.militarycorruption.com/capers30.htm

Excerpt:
The Army and Carlisle Barracks can heave a sigh of relief. It would have been mighty uncomfortable for the HERO OF GRENADA and PATHETIC BOBBY to be up there on the witness stand “under oath” and have to admit to all the hypocrisy and misconduct that took place on their watch.
In fact, in the above story, we revealed that Chilcoat offered Barbara Vanner, who worked on post as an employee assistance programmer, $50,000 to “go away” when she first lodged sex harassment charges against Chilcoat “favorite,” Ron Meier, former boss of the Directorate of Personnel and Community Activities (DPCA). Can you spell attempted “B-R-I-B-E,” boys and girls?

Ron's a great guy, I know there are several of us here who have been recipients of his generosity. I was looking for some brake calipers. He said he had a set sitting around and sent them to me. When I got them I asked about payment and he said something in manner of "thanks, but no" I know I'm not alone...he's a great guy.
