QUOTE ("*" @ Feb 15 2006, 07:01 PM)
My last post.

I never got a PM.
I never got a complaint.
A poster called me and told me that there was a thread about me.

I came home on Valentine's Day and found a thread with my name IN CAPS in the subject line.

I PM'd Bad Ass, did not get a response.
I posted a thread about Bad Ass, it was deleted.

Whoever Bad Ass is, they had better stay anonymous, as I will have an up close and personal discussion with that person some day. This was handled badly.

I have not been banned, I have chosen to leave.

I am not taking my ball and running away. There is notheing left here that interests me.

Have Fun.

I'm not a very vocal member, but (Long winded response deleted) All I can say is (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/bs.gif) "*" this isn't the first time your avatar's have been a topic of discussion (sometimes heated) here. Grow up, I'm all for pictures nude pictures, but not on a car club website.

You are right, if you don't like it then leave. As my father would say, don't let the door hit ya in the ........

Andy, Well said. THANK YOU!

Oh hell, I may as well speek my mind. It's not the first time, but I've tried to have some restraint.

I've been labeled "Bible Thumper" since my first rants some time ago. The exile thread on PP refers to the name several times. I've actually grown to like the name when used in fun and by friends. While I don't always agree on many of the avatars and messages, most can be avoided or over looked. I LIKE to the see pics and avatars. I will not explain to my 4 and 8 year old boys why a crotch shot of a woman with a mans hand is feeling her is on my computer or what a woman with large boobs is bouncing on the screen. Avatars like the one now shown by our favorite Tattoo Freek is fine. I can over look it and it doesn't attract attention from those around me. As a wanna-be-Artist, I can respect the idea of the human form being art and used in art. A crotch shot or other singled out body part IS NOT ART. Mike Zois and others can call me all the names they like. While I don't care for it, I'll accept the responsibility for how I react to it. I once thought the self imposed "exile"d people added color, but they only add immaturity. I like the people who own these silly little cars. I like the color of different personalities. People make mistakes and should be forgiven. When it's not a mistake and just defience then that's another story.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be off to my Bible Thumper forum. As I prefer to follow the rules. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/KMA.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/popcorn[1].gif)

Next time this censorship & separate OT forum stuff comes up again I'm going to search the archive and bump the 50 threads that have already killed these subjects. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dead horse.gif)

We have so many new members, that I can't really blame them for thinking it's a new idea.  But still...

Maybe we need to put threads like this in the FAQ.

Easily the best idea yet. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif)

I swear (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)
Here's the routine: 1)someone squawks because we need more restrictions OR we have too much censorship; 2) big pissin' match number 423 starts up, with all the usual "I'm right you're wrong" posts; 3)I get turned off & stay away for a while, 4)I ease back in, things settle; 5)like clock work, about four weeks later, some knucklehead who's sure he knows the answer starts us back at step 1.

Some interesting people I know are inmature 40 year olds. And the most interesting person I know is a very inmature 60 + year old. Character pure and simple. We should celebrate character. It funny, many are ready to accept alternative life styles, but not original lifestyles that have incredible character.

You are right a crotch shot is not art, unless Someone says it is, and who are they. I was born without clothes, weren't you?

However, I understand the lack of morale upbringing of todays youth. I hope those who are concerned with what their kids see on this site are as involved in their childrens school and teachers. Involvement in education is a far bigger problem.

what's your point? because zois was born naked and grew a lot of hair on his private parts, we all have to look at his crotch?

Damnit Andy, you're European and are supposed to be laughing at "us". Don't be gettin' all mature on us......you'll show lack of "character" and ruin our "morale" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Yup, born without cloths, but I wouldn't want to show off for the world.

Just because someone says "it's art" doesn't make it art. There is too much garbage being descrided as art that isn't.

You are right about kids too. I for one consider school as only a small part of my childrens education. And you had better believe I'll be in the face of anyone in town if I hear things being taught in school that shouldn't be. I also consider any after school programs.

Fine art paintings from the various eras is far different than the crap pictures in question on this site though. Shoot, I was even watching a program the othet night on Frank Frazetta. He has many nudes in his works but none are seductive or focus just parts, but the body as a whole. Smut is not art and should not be viewed buy kids (or adults IMO).
