I got a 75 914 converted to a 3.5 six but the only thing the prior owner didn't complete is the gauges. I got a combo oil temp gauge (thanks Randy) but need advice on hooking it up. My guess is this isn't as simple as changing out the old idiot light. I traced a green with red stripe wire off the sender, through the fire wall, and into (I think) the harness of the DME. Once there I lost it. Any thoughts?

don't know much about the 3.2 motonics, I'd re-ask your question with hopes that those with 3.2 equipped motors with stock efi could help...

You might try reposting your question with the title "3.2 oil gauge wiring" to attract the right person. At least a couple members here have done it. I'm afraid I can't help.
