Thinking about going to an all Electronic Ignition.

4 cylinder.

Please share your ideas and pictures on the best places to mount the Magnetic Pick-up.

Depends entirely on which crankfire ignition you're intending to use.

Mounting magnets on the alternator belt pulley has been done. Mounting a wheel behind the fan (replacing the spacer between the fan and the fan hub) has been done. Pickups have been mounted on custom pedestels, in slots cut into the fan housing, etc.

I had pictures of my setup, but in fit of rage/embarrasment, I must have deleted the thread and it's in the recycling bin....andy can retrieve them if you wish, or I'll try and take pictures of my setup at home....
