Just curious I haven't seen any turbo porsche motors on here. Is it a heat issue or just not one bothers.

Oh my! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)
Very nice stuff, my little turbo engine looks tame next to those real monsters. I cant imagine 6 to 8 hundred hp in a teener when 350 seemed to push me along pretty good. Carnage pictures scare me, thats why I am building for reliability and safety. |

yes on the carnage engine we stretched the limits a bit.. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/chairfall.gif) On any engine having a sound bottom end is important, and even more so on a turbo engine |

well it's nice to see you are in Wantagh in case I need to get some advice. Used to work for cablevision out in the area.
Oh and car already has haltech management. Not that I am looking to turbo the car yet. Maybe next winter. I need to learn more about the engines first. |

Chappy has done an impressive job on his turbo installation. I built a few monster engines and stuffed them in a 911.. no ground broken here. Chappy has made a model install for you to follow
One thing I will recommend is that is you are going to turbo your engine.. tear it down and have a look at the crank and rods and case... spend some extra coin making sure to make sure everything is within spec.. and perhaps make it better than spec (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) |
