For whatever reason I cannot get the driver's seat the hell out of my car. Is there any special trick to it?

Slide the seat back. with a flashlight look b/t the rails for the spring pin. the spring pin is located on the outer rail. use a screwdriver to lift it up and then slide the seat forward. It will come right out.
