For whatever reason I cannot get the driver's seat the hell out of my car. Is there any special trick to it?

Slide the seat back. with a flashlight look b/t the rails for the spring pin. the spring pin is located on the outer rail. use a screwdriver to lift it up and then slide the seat forward. It will come right out.

Trick is move it all the way up, then one notch down, Hold the spring up with one hand, and the lever with the other while giving a good tug.
