Oh Billd, you must have at least 86HP. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
Bill, did you ever find headers or SSIs for the 2.0L, or are you putting all your effort into the 6 now? How is the motor situation coming along? Is it going to be a 2.7 or 3.0? |

Bill D., I bet you have at least 87.5 HP in that car! Well...at least one 914 is going!
Dan, No 4 parts left except for a burch muffler setup that I have to get rid of. I sold the SSI's to someone up north according to my parts log book. I bought a 3.0 litre motor for The Beast. Here's the thread....post your thoughts on the configuration.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) 3.0 for The Beast Bill P. |

Hi Randal,
Yep...I remember when we were swapping parts right and left trying to get the cars all dialed....even swapping springs out at AX events! I think the ones you have are 200's or 250's You can read them on the spring itself. Eibach codes it 1000.250.0250 where it means 10" length / 2.5" I.D. / 250lbs. The Beast currently has coilovers on all 4 corners using Advanced Design Ground Control shocks with 2.25 inch I.D. springs. I'd like to stay witht he advanced designs....but we'll see. Bill P. |

Bill, I was reading your thread on the Beast motor....If it were me I would build it to be a fairly exact replica of the 2.7 you had except with the 3.0 or 3.2 displacement.
That is my $9.14 worth. I sold my SSIs and Bursch about two weeks ago to someone on the board from here in SJ. weekender (Erik) IIRC Had my car out and drove around the block today just for (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Put my numbers on today....now it really is a track car. No more magnetic numbers (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap56.gif) torsion bars and porterfields with brake bleed tomorrow. |

You can have a ride anytime Bill, if you want to get bored and watch the scenery go by at a slower pace (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
