nope ... i put in my 100mm studs without taking the hub off ... gotta rotate the hub as only one hole clears the trailing arm. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) Andy |

I have 15x7 cookies on my car with Kuhmo Ecsta 712 ((IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif) - slippy tires) 205x15x50s on them. I had to do a bunch of fender rolling to get those under the backside of the car.
Big thanks to SynthesisDV for selling me the wheels tho (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) |

no press ... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) slide in until splines line up, slide piece of pipe over the stud, then a big washer, then thread on a old open lug nut. it'll pull the stud right into place! i used a little bit of lock-tight (sp?) on the splines, just to be sure ... This is my 914 with 7x15 911 R Fuchs and 205/50/15 tires. Stock body. No fender rolling. No spacer in front, but about 1/2 inch spacers in rear. Attached image(s) |

I've seen 911R wheels pop up from time to time on Pelican and Rennlist classifieds. They cost as much as some reasonably nice 914's...
I went the rolling and pulling route on my rear fenders and can fit 15x7's or 16x7's with 205 Hoosiers (wide). If I ever repaint the car I'll probably do the 'slicing' trick to get enough room to squeeze 225's. Most of the VARA cars are set up this way - 225/50 Kumhos on 15x7 Fuchs with a stock-appearing body. |

I was thinking about some custom wheels (probably some steel ones.) I'm just looking for the correct offset. |

There were only 21 911R cars made. However, I think I remember the batch of wheels being about 200 sets. |
