I will leave here on Tues. with a planned arrival time of Thursday evening.

If anyone in Indianapolis wants to get together for a lunch or dinner on Friday.. I'm up for it.

Also... Sean.. if you want to do a improptu tech session in someones garage... sign me up.

Let me know what you think. I will also show up early enough to go over anything you may have found on your car that needs addressing (other than the shift bushings and tranny mounts).

Spending Friday night with relatives. Relatives have volunteered to watch the kids while the wife and I make it to the picnic on Saturday.

Lets do dinner Friday night. Sean can pic the location. Someplace decent that doesnt cost an arm and a leg (Chili's)

If we flip the cars from trailer to trailer Friday night.. does that mean you have to pull the trailer on the run on Sat. ?? or can you leave it at the relatives house ??

I need a 914 ride/drive for the event.

Brad, I haven't figured out what's going to happen with the trailer on Saturday if we flip Friday night. I know the relatives won't want it sitting in front of their house even for a day and off-street parking is minimal. I'll probably drag it with me all day if I can't work something out with them.

Seanery, specifically, they have told me that they actually live in Greenwood. It comes up as Bargersville on the caller ID.

Count me in for the dinner. I'll even buy Brad an iced tea if he can help me pick out a decent flywheel from Doug. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

And any info I can pick up from any tech sessions I can get to would be great!

We could do Hooters. Right now I'm burnt out on the chicken sandwhich. On the way thru Texas we stopped at Hooters. On the way back thru Texas we stopped at 2 different Hooters..and we had just done the SF Hooters event. I havent spent much time in Indy recently.. but I'm questioning the "quality" of employees a Indy Hooters might have... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I've got a garage that can be used for a tech session. I'm in Nashville only about 2 miles from the state park. Plenty of parking in the drive and in a field/yard provided it stays dry. No lift in the garage, but it does have a pit. - kinda scary sometimes looking at the bottom of some of these cars.

Also, some pretty neat Chevy's to look at in the garage. My Father-in-law has a garage adjacent to my property. He used to run the local Chevrolet dealership. over the years he kept a few vettes and camaros - mostly indy pace car replicas. Actually some pretty cool stuff in the garage. My favorites are a 57 fuelie (not orig fuelie but looks beautiful) and a 5 mi 78 pace car.

Sean - Let's talk about a tech session. Has the installation of Mueller's roller bearings been done yet? If we do a tech session we can use someone else's car, or I will gladly offer my 73 restoration project up for a tech session. It is still a shell on a rotisserie and boxes and boxes of parts in the gargae, house, basement and 2nd garage. But, we should be able to find something that is ready to work on.

Dinner - I should be able to make it. Anyplace on the southside that will work?

Garold,
Yes, it's still ok for you to crash here. Brad will have to sleep on the couch. What time do you plan on coming in on Friday?

Doug,
Let's think of a place in Greenwood. Tech session, I dunno, what did you have in mind? I don't think anyone around here has Meuller's bearings. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Brad,
Sorry your on the couch, it's big though.

Dan,
Is Greenwood ok with you?

Anyone else?

Oh.. man.. I'll find out where my sisters new house is...LOL

I like the tech session idea in the garage near the drive.

Bring all the questions/parts/cars you want me to look at.

Greenwood works for me. What time are we planning for dinner?

I'm not too familiar with whats in Greenwood, but I'm sure there's plenty to choose from. Maybe BW3?
