Cannot occupy garage without railing.

Anyone have a local fabricator that can make railing for stairs and a small loft?

Thanks… just thought I’d ask (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I just used Iron Design Center for a long sweeping railing for my church.
I chased down quite a few folks and they were the quickest and most most cost effective.

But obviously, it may vary based on your application

Saw a 914 at Griot's this morning. Turns out it's Rocky's old car from Gig Harbor that went to Hawaii and back. Sounds like it will be listed soon at Premium Motors in Tacoma. The owner(?) at the dealer just bought it a week ago. Very nice Nepal Orange '75 1.8 that I was too busy drooling over to bother taking pictures.

Also, Sunday the 11th is the PCA day at XXX Drive-in at 11am. I'll be on odd shifts at work and will miss it, but just wanted to throw out the reminder.

PCA Breakfast at the Anderson School House McMenamins location on the 16th at 9am if anyone is interested in that as well.

hey folks. i'm down near portland oregon, but haven't been involved in PNW meetups for quite awhile. with a little more time on my hands these days, i'd be interested in meeting other enthusiasts for drives and shows and such.

my 75 1.8...

I love the color. I had an orange one, not nearly as nice, when I was young.

Driving our 914 more and more and really wanting to attend some of the local events. Pulled the seats to have them redone by a local guy. So the 914 is down for a few weeks. But soon! We'll be out there at some events!

The orange 914 looks amazing.

How do you guys feel about driving your 914s in the rain?

I usually drive a beat up Miata on days like today, since it's disposable and the heater/defogger work. To accommodate a motorcycle, I may have to decrement my car count by one, which would make the 914 my regular driver. (Or I'd have to give up the 914.)

Is anyone else doing this? I rarely see 914s on the road even on nice days.

I have a 73 1.7 that is rusted and paint good from 100 yards, but still uncomfortable driving in the rain because it is hard to see us on the road.

So it's looking like I won't have to sell the 914 (or the Miata) since I can squeeze the bike into the same parking space.

Try this with a Panamera!

Yup that my girl. Sold it to a lady that had one in her youth and she lived on Kauai. Shipped it there and then she ends up moving to Gig Harbor, of all places, a year later. Crazy world! I guess she passed away recently and her husband was not a car guy so he sold it to that dealer. Apparently James Young who is a member purchased it. Glad its in good hands. Miss her all the time.

@rhodyguy It was too clean to pass up! Mainly meant to be my wife's car, but it has definitely taken some pressure off the engine rebuild for my car. Kinda funny how my first was a '75 Nepal Orange 1.8(repainted to Signal Yellow) and now hers is, too. Love the orange so much more than the yellow!

Hopefully will have mine back together for WCR so we can bring both down! I'm still tempted to take the slow route down the coast instead of doing a convoy on the interstate.

@Rocky I'll keep in touch with you. Get a ton of comments on how great the car looks. A group of people are trying to resurrect a Gig Harbor cars and coffee meet. Would be cool to meet up and talk about some of the details on the car.
