Architect by day (I've done mostly sports facilities, higher education facilities, multifamily residential and some small residential)
Random project junky by night (renovating my house, 914, building a CNC, and a hovercraft to name a few. No, none of them are moving very fast) |

CTO for a software firm that creates trusted (Linux/Unix) operating systems. Most of the times it keeps me off the street (and pays for my Porsche habits).

Manage a fabrication shop in Costa Mesa, California. We build parts that our customers sell under their brand names. Specialize in high performance automotive exhaust and sway bars. In addition to other auto related pieces we build parts for exercise equipment.
Formerly spent four years as the technical/operations director of the Indy Lights racing series based in Troy, Michigan. Prior to that worked fourteen years at All American Racers in Santa Ana, California. The first six years I was crew chief on Car #98 racing in IMSA GTU, GTO, and GTP, followed by eight years as race team manager racing in IMSA GTP and then CART Champ Cars. |

I pay for my car habits by desigining cars and trucks at DaimlerChrysler.
So its cars basically from when I get up to when I go to bed. Sometimes I get sick of cars, but only after a bad day, but how bad can a day be of drawing cars? Yes we still draw with pencils and make clay models by hand. Mark |

Senior Network Engineer for the Nations Largest Vocational School. So I have network that is almost as large as the State of Rhoad Island. I has almost been 10 years here, and before that a Jack of all trades for a small comapny, I did everything.
But even with that I have to sell parts to fund the 914 projects. |

Stole (I wouldn't call it working) from my parents business to purchase and support my first 914. Grew up to become the controller for a manfacturing company. If they only knew those invoices for auto parts weren't for the forklifts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) If I can just figure out how to classify a new paint job as a business expense......... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Electro-mechanical engineer for a semi-conductor captial equiptment manufacturer.
We do thin film measurement (metrology) for semiconductor films using Ultra-sonic laser sonar. I install and support the equiptment at the customer sites. I spend A LOT!!! of time in Taiwan, Japan, and Korea (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) That's why when I'm in the country I lock myself in the garage and spend as much time as possible with the teener (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

I'm a Production Electrical Engineer for a company that manufactures lithography machines for the semiconductor industry. We have fabs all over including Intel, IBM, Micron, etc... First job out of college was a production manager at a pressure sensor manufacturer. They made high precision/miniature sensors for Formula 1. On the side i'm a computer consultant. Someday I hope to build my empire with a combination of stock market / real estate. |

Yarin, Who was it you worked for that made sensors for Fomula 1? It wasn't Airpax/Phillips Electronics/VDO/Siemens, was it. I know they made sensors for Tyrell back in the late '80s. You do any autocross? I don't meet too many 914 drivers around here. Kelly |
