Seen on Ebay This car with a Masarati 2.5 bi turbo installed. I know of SBC, WRX, V6 Buick, Mazda, and /6 conversions, but a Masarati 2.5 bi turbo? I guess it would work? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Why put a motor with such expensive parts in a 914? Thats a little counter productive IMHO. You could get more power from and SBC or Subie and pay so much less in parts.
It was for sale a while ago; it looked like it was in better shape then IIRC. |

the thing uses special shims to adjust the valves. 24 of 'em..
it's a blow thru carb'd turbo setup. uses special shims for valve adjustment. all aluminum... =-) did i mention it cost $2400 for a major tune up 10 years ago and only 2 places in the bay area would do it? run. run away. quickly. |
