Yes Rich you are coming down the I5 to the I205 interchange and then down I205 to the Monarch Hotel (Sunnyside road or Sunnybrook)offramp.
You won't have that big of a PITA driving south.

you may still encounter some traffic when driving to seattle that early. hitting seattle at 10 is ideal for avoiding the morning commute into the city. my place is about 45 minutes to an hour away from geoff's house.

Everyday there is traffic from Everett to past Tacoma ......there is no way to get around it. The Rush hour is from 7AM to about 9AM so you should be fine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

the Village Resturant in marysville is a good place for breakfast (4th ST exit, right next to I-5). if you make good time driving south, stop and relax for a bit. there is a large constuction zone on the south end of everett. you REALLY don't want to drive thru it during commute hours. departure from my place is 12ish. just give me a call if you're delayed steve. we'll wait for you. about 2 hours +/- to the monarch from my house. I-5 opens up south of olympia.

Sounds good. Let me know when/where and I will be there even if to waive at people as they drive past. I think Jeff and I are going to hook up on Saturday morning for our drive to Portland. Maybe catch the tour in progress.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)
