------------------------------ The Fellowship of the Rust ------------------------------ Once upon a time, the mighty Wizard Craig the Grey, who lived in the northern Stronghold of Camp914, deep within the enchanted woods of Oregon summoned his fellow Narps to the ancient fortress of Portland. He felt the power of the dark lord Ferros was growing stronger by the week, threatening to destroy everything within his path. Only the bravest of the brave had the courage to answer Craig the Grey's call and left their lands to join their kin for the great gathering. The Woodman of the North, the Dwarfs of the Midwest, the Elves and Fairies of the South and the Barbarians of the East all sent out their mightiest warriors to represent them. This is the story of 3 young Narps that set out on a epic journey to the unknown lands of the north from the sleepy village of Napa. At dawn, they gathered at the village center, kissed their wives goodbye and headed north into the unknown. They called themselves "The Fellowship of the Rust" ... <- to be continued -> |

Although I have never been to the enchanted forests of Oregon,I to have followed the fellowship of the rust.
I have met Lord Ferros on the field of battle. I have defeated him with my own arsenal of tools, and reclaimed the ring of keys. With the ring of keys in hand and a simple twist I command the raw power the ring of keys posesses. Indeed I have met Lord Ferros and vanquished him. Ron Attached image(s) |

King Aandy to the the first person he sees at the WCC: Go and tell your master that we have been charged by God with a sacred quest. If he will give us food and shelter for the night, he can join us in our quest for the Holy Grail (a rust-free 914).
person: Well, I'll ask him, but I don't think he will be very keen. Uh, he's already got one, you see. King Aandy: What? Sir Brad: He said they've already got one! King Aandy: Are you sure he's got one? person: Oh yes, it's very nice! Sorry, the first post just reminded me a bit of Monty Python and couldn't resist. |

ARTHUR: "Please go and tell your master that we have been charged by God with a sacred quest, and if he will give us food and shelter for this night he can join us in our quest for the Holy Grail." FRENCHMAN: "Well, I'll ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen. He's already got one, you see?" ARTHUR "What?" GALAHAD "He says they've already got one!" (stunned) ARTHUR "Are you sure he's got one?" FRENCHMAN "Oh yes. It's very nice" (cut to battlements) FRENCHMAN "I told him we already got one." (they all giggle) ARTHUR "Well ... can we come up and have a look? FRENCHMAN "Of course not! You are English pigs!" Wierd, where did that quote come from? I don't see it in this thread (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) or I wouldn't have put the same thing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I couldn't remember the exact wording that followed when he asked to see it... I was going to put something to the effect of "of course not you NARP pigs" and was drawing a blank. |

We from the Almighty East are forbidden by the Mountains they call the Rockies from entering (i.e. - no vacation time left) or we would join your Crusade. Besides, if we (I) once again entered the valley of the Napa (starting point), we would not get past the Harpes of the Grape there & would soon be rendered helpless. On with you then. And please inform us of your findings. Attached image(s) |

Queen of Light (Toast) took her Porsche, And then she turned to go,
The Prince of Peace (Kojiro) embraced the gloom (and rust), And walked the night alone. Oh, dance in the dark of night, Sing to the morning light. The dark Lord (Ferros) rides in force tonight, And time will tell us all. Oh, throw down your plow and hoe(and 13mm socket), Rest not to lock your homes. Side by side we wait the might of the darkest of them all. I hear the horses' thunder (all 80 of them) down in the valley below, I'm waiting for the angels of Avalon(So.Cal), waiting for the eastern (acid rain) glow. The apples of the valley hold, The seeds of happiness, The ground is rich from tender care, Repay, do not forget, no, no. Dance in the dark of night, sing to the morning light. The apples turn to brown and black, The tyrant's face (Zois) is red. Oh war is the common cry, Pick up your swords and fight. The sky is filled with good and bad that mortals (Aaron & MattR) never know. Oh, well, the night is long, the beads of time pass slow, Tired eyes on the sunrise(Permagrin), waiting for the eastern glow. The pain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath, The drums will shake the castle wall, the ringwraiths (Skline) ride in black, Ride on. Sing as you raise your bow, shoot straighter than before. No comfort has the fire at night that lights the face so cold. Oh dance in the dark of night, Sing to the morning light. The magic runes are writ in gold to bring the balance back (Por-15) Bring it back. At last the sun is shining, The clouds of blue roll by, With flames from the dragon of darkness (Miles), the sunlight blinds his eyes. Ooh, Bring it back, Bring it back... |
