Just got back from the Nashville Indiana FUN RUN.
Kudos to Sean (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) for a very twisty curvey ride. If you were in driving distance and didn't come you missed a excellent run!!

I will post pics in a day or two, must get sleep.

Thanks Guys!
I was very pleased and honored with the turnout we had!

I'm sure the pics will trickle in shortly.
Was anyone able to take pics during the drive?
I know I was navigating and don't think I could've
shot much if I wasn't.

Thanks again to all who drove in for this!!

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet Run! What a blast - when can can we do it again! Sean - what a great run - roads were twisty and technical! I never fail to be amazed at what these cars can do.

Doug - thanks for showing us all of your great cars - that garage was awesome! A big thank you to your wife for putting up with the invasion.

Brad was in attendance - he is a real person! He gave everyone there some graet poiners on 914's. The man knows these cars like the back of his hand!!

Even got to see and hear a Mittlemotor SS muffler - drool...... droool..... great sound and really nice quality. I want TWO!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for such a great time!!

Indeed, Thanks Sean for putting this together. I know it was a little rocky for you being a 'first' fun-run event but the subsequent events will be easier to manage.

I made it home with the blue '75 tub just fine. That car is unbelieveable. I cleaned the area under the battery. No holes in the long. The engine shelf has a hole but the long itself is solid. Easy fix. I was thinking about what Brad said. I may even keep the original battery shelf.

...now, does anyone have good ideas for fenders? :-)

It was good to meet Doug and some of the others at the meet. Was nice to see Rob again.

I've got aobut 15 or 20 pictures. Should I post them here or in another thread?

I'm glad your happy with the car and you/it made it home safely. I think it'll be nice. If you haven't start a thread on the fenders. I'm sure you'll get a ton of responses. Jeroen's fenders would where I would start looking.

It was nice to meet you Rick!

I personally want to thank those that helped me get my car back together to get to the Fun Run.
Garold (Itsa914), Dan (PNambic) & Brad. You guys rocked Friday evening and Saturday morning!!!
Doug Leggins came up with the part that made it possible for the car to be put back together. Doug
thanks again for pulling that apart so quick and bringing it with you to dinner!

I had a great time spending time with you guys as well as all the others who were in attendance on Saturday.
