hi all. this is my first post to the board. i picked my '73 914 2.o up about a week ago. appears to have been well cared for, but no doubt i will be needing some assistance in the future with technical issues, etc, so i just wanted to introduce myself.

in the meantime, i was hoping someone could offer some advice as to what center caps might fill in the 2.5" opening of my mahle replicas? the fake chrome center caps complete with the "american eagle" logo just aren't going to complete the look i was after.

thanks! jonathan

Its all part of our 5 year midwest domintation plan.
we build our numbers and then challenge AZ to a kickball tournament in which we take no prisoners and leave no one standing!

I have american racing wheels (see avatar photo) that have a similar size opening and the previous owner put 911 fuchs center caps in. You can buy these new or used...they come new in black with hand painted logos from Performance porsche for like $80 each...they would look awesome but make sure they fit before spending too much dough.

The 914club web site is better than any other BBS I've been to. I'm addicted! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
