Would also be in for a $200-300 kit — if the quality is top-notch.

Also curious about how well the setup will weather repeated usage over the years... factory looked at 914-6 GTs as disposable cars (much like all of their race cars, then and now).

Maybe I need to research these more.

But I am still VERY interested. Also, can anyone confirm the weight savings?

The link has the mechanical parts but no pictures of the pull mounting location inside the drivers compartment.

I am guessing it is the pull in this picture that is to the right of the ?hazard lights and tho the left of the ign switch. But I dont know for sure.

pull knob can be anywhere ,most came through were the trunk pull was, as GT didnt use the trunk release.

Yep, interested here too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) But of a bummer being in the UK though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Perhaps a club shop with deposits is a good idea to sort the numbers? I suppose it'd mean a lot of responsibility for one guy (or girl (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) though.
