This may have been done before. If it was, just cast me out into the neververse & forget it.

But....I seriously doubt that MOST of us started with a Porsche.

How about a compendium of where we all got hooked on cars?

Pics required! Don't care if it was last week or.....whenever. Don't car if it was bikes, but needs to be road licensed.

QUOTE(Steve Thacker @ Oct 12 2006, 01:07 PM) *

My first car I got I had to restore. I starting when I was 15. Finished it back to original when 18.

Then dad came home drunk and decided to take it for a spin.......
Dumbass survived the crash...

The first car that I owned was a 1949 Ford V-8 club coupe with glass pack Smitty mufflers and red tartan plaid seat covers boy was I a hot s--t in that car.Nothing sounded as good as that Flat head V-8 with a dual exhaust system....Never forget it all 95 HP of it.

First car I ever drove! ... that was in my mom's green 2CV with a big ass yellow duck sticker on the back. This is not a pic of the actual car but looks pretty much like it. That thing was a hoot.
The first car I owned was a 99 Expedition ... got actual pics of that one but way too boring to post.

I paid my cousin $300 for a '79 Chevy Monza. Before I got my licence, I had the car painted by a friend Corvette White with "Porsche" red strip up the hood and over the roof. I also added chome painted rims from the local recycler.
edit: I almost forgot that I added so much ArmorAll to the interior and seats! that you couldn't keep in the seat when taking any corner over 5mph.
